WATCH: Trailer for Chika Anadu’s Upcoming Drama – B FOR BOY

B for Boy is an upcoming contemporary drama Written and Directed by Chika Anadu which was set in Nigeria. The movie follows one woman’s desperate need for a male child and the challenges she has to go through. B for Boy explores the discrimination of women in the names of culture and religion.

B for Boy which won the won the Breakthrough award at the 2013 AFI festival brings to mind the critically acclaimed movie Mother of George by Andrew Dosunmu and while this one might not get as much coverage as the latter, the trailer teases a compelling and decent story worth checking out.

The movie stars Uche Nwadili, Ngozi Nwaneto and Nonso Odogwu and is supposed to be released in Nigeria before the end of the year.
